An extremely concise summary of Hanafi jurisprudence that became one of the most commented-upon texts in the school. Despite its brevity, it covers all major areas of fiqh. Its precision attracted dozens of commentaries, the most famous being al-Bahr ar-Ra'iq by Ibn Nujaym.
