One of the two most authoritative commentaries on al-Nawawi's Minhaj al-Talibin, alongside Nihayat al-Muhtaj. Ibn Hajar al-Haytami's work is particularly followed in the Hadrami, Southeast Asian, and Egyptian Shafi'i traditions.
