Chain of Narration (Isnad)

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَبَّلَ امْرَأَةً مِنْ نِسَائِ

هِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ . قَالَ عُرْوَةُ فَقُلْتُ لَهَا مَنْ هِيَ إِلاَّ أَنْتِ فَضَحِكَتْ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ هَكَذَا رَوَاهُ زَائِدَةُ وَعَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ الْحِمَّانِيُّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الأَعْمَشِ .

English Translation

Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Prophet ﷺ kissed one of his wives and went out to pray (salah). He did not perform ablution. 'Urwah said: I said to her: Who is she except you! Thereupon she laughed. Abu Dawud said: The same version has been reported through a different chain of narrators
