حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، - فِي آخَرِينَ - قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنِ الْوَضِينِ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ مَحْفُوظِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَن

ْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَائِذٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " وِكَاءُ السَّهِ الْعَيْنَانِ فَمَنْ نَامَ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ " .

English Translation
Ali ibn AbuTalib (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The eyes are the leather strap of the anus, so one who sleeps should perform ablution
