حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الطَّالْقَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ لَمَّا تَزَوَّجَ عَلِيٌّ فَ

اطِمَةَ قَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَعْطِهَا شَيْئًا " . قَالَ مَا عِنْدِي شَىْءٌ . قَالَ " أَيْنَ دِرْعُكَ الْحُطَمِيَّةُ " .

English Translation
Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that when Ali married Fatimah, the Prophet ﷺ said to him: Give her something. He said: I have nothing with me. He said: Where is your Hutamiyyah (coat of mail)
