Hadith #24

Hasan li dhatihi

Arabic Text

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَا أُسَامَةَ، حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَذْبَحُ أُضْحِيَتَهُ بِالْمُصَلَّى وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَفْعَلُهُ ‏.‏

English Translation

Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ﷺ used to slaughter his sacrificial animal at the place of prayer. Ibn 'Umar used to do so
