حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنِي شَيْبَانُ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَ

نْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ السُّوَائِيِّ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لاَ يُطِيلُ الْمَوْعِظَةَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِنَّمَا هُنَّ كَلِمَاتٌ يَسِيرَاتٌ .

English Translation
Jabir ibn Samurah as-Suwa'i (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not lengthen the sermon on Friday. He would say a few words
