حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ قُلْنَا لأَنَسٍ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَالِكٍ - أَىُّ اللِّبَاسِ كَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُو

لِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَوْ أَعْجَبَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ الْحِبَرَةُ .

English Translation
Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that we asked Anas b. Malik: Which cloth was dearer to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ? or Which cloth did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ like best to wear ? He replied: The striped cloaks (hibrah)
