Call to Prayers (Adhaan)

Arabic Text

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏.‏ ‏ "‏ إِذَا اسْتَأْذَنَتِ امْرَأَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلاَ يَمْنَعْهَا ‏"‏‏.‏

English Translation

Salim bin `Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that my father said, "the Prophet ﷺ said, 'If the wife of any one of you asks permission (to go to the mosque) do not forbid her
