حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُ

رَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " التَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ وَالتَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ ".

English Translation
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "The saying 'Subhan Allah' is for men and clapping is for women." (If something happens in the prayer, the men can invite the attention of the Imam by saying "Subhan Allah". And women, by clapping their hands)
