حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، ح

َدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ بَيْعِ الْوَلاَءِ، وَعَنْ هِبَتِهِ.

English Translation

Ibn `Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah's Messenger ﷺ forbade the selling or donating the Wala' of a freed slave
