حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله
عنها ـ قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّاسُ يَتَحَرَّوْنَ بِهَدَايَاهُمُ يَوْمِي. وَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ إِنَّ صَوَاحِبِي اجْتَمَعْنَ. فَذَكَرَتْ لَهُ، فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا.

English Translation
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that the people used to send gifts to the Prophet ﷺ on the day of my turn. Um Salama said: "My companions (the wives of the Prophet ﷺ Other than Aisha) gathered and they complained about it. So I informed the Prophet ﷺ about it on their behalf, but he remained silent
