حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا، يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ الأَحْزَابِ " مَنْ يَأْتِينَا بِخَبَرِ الْقَوْمِ ". فَقَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ أَنَا. ثُمَّ قَالَ " مَنْ
يَأْتِينَا بِخَبَرِ الْقَوْمِ ". فَقَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ أَنَا. ثُمَّ قَالَ " مَنْ يَأْتِينَا بِخَبَرِ الْقَوْمِ ". فَقَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ أَنَا. ثُمَّ قَالَ " إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيًّا، وَإِنَّ حَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ ".

English Translation
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that on the day of Al-Ahzab (i.e. clans), Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, 'Who will bring us the news of the people (i.e. the clans of Quraish infidels)?" Az-Zubair said, "I." the Prophet ﷺ again said, "Who will bring us the news of the people?" Az-Zubair said, "I." the Prophet ﷺ again said, "Who will bring us the news of the people?" Az-Zubair said, "I." the Prophet ﷺ then said, "Every prophet has his Hawari (i.e. disciple - special helper); my disciple is Az-Zubair
