Military Expeditions led by the Prophet (pbuh) (Al-Maghaazi)

Arabic Text

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَخِي، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ، سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَقَامَ عَلَى صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ حُيَىٍّ، بِطَرِيقِ خَيْبَرَ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ، حَتَّى أَعْرَسَ بِهَا، وَكَانَتْ فِيمَنْ ضُرِبَ عَلَيْهَا الْحِجَابُ‏.‏

English Translation

Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ﷺ stayed with Safiya bint Huyai for three days on the way of Khaibar where he consummated his marriage with her. Safiya was amongst those who were ordered to use a veil
