Wedlock, Marriage (Nikaah)

Arabic Text

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ إِذَا اسْتَأْذَنَتِ امْرَأَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَلاَ يَمْنَعْهَا ‏"‏‏.‏

English Translation

Salim's father (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "If the wife of anyone of you asks permission to go to the mosque, he should not forbid her
