Good Manners and Form (Al-Adab)
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ قِيلَ لِلنَّبِيِّ
صلى الله عليه وسلم الرَّجُلُ يُحِبُّ الْقَوْمَ وَلَمَّا يَلْحَقْ بِهِمْ قَالَ " الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ ". تَابَعَهُ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ.
English Translation
Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that it was said to the Prophet ﷺ; , "A man may love some people but he cannot catch up with their good deeds?" the Prophet ﷺ said, "Everyone will be with those whom he loves
