حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ سَلاَمٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِب

ْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " الْوَلاَءُ لِمَنْ أَعْطَى الْوَرِقَ، وَوَلِيَ النِّعْمَةَ ".

English Translation

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "The wala is for the one who gives the silver (pays the price) and does the favor (of manumission after paying the price)
