Limits and Punishments set by Allah (Hudood)
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَضَى فِيمَنْ زَنَى وَلَمْ يُحْصَنْ بِنَفْىِ عَامٍ بِإِقَامَةِ الْحَدِّ عَلَيْهِ.
English Translation
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah's Messenger ﷺ judged that the unmarried person who was guilty of illegal sexual intercourse be exiled for one year and receive the legal punishment (i.e., be flogged with one-hundred stripes)
