Holding Fast to the Qur'an and Sunnah
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلٍ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ بَيْنَ جِدَارِ الْمَسْجِدِ مِمَّا يَلِي الْقِبْلَةَ وَبَيْنَ الْمِنْبَرِ مَمَرُّ الشَّاةِ.
English Translation
Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the distance between the pulpit and the wall of the mosque on the side of the Qibla was just sufficient for a sheep to pass through
