حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، ع

َنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ، وَمَنْ كَانَ حَالِفًا فَلْيَحْلِفْ بِاللَّهِ ".

English Translation

Ibn `Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not swear by your fathers; and whoever wants to swear should swear by Allah
