Arabic Text

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- قَالَ: { سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-عَنْ اَلْخَمْرِ تُتَّخَذُ خَلًّا? قَالَ: "لَا".‏ } أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِم ٌ 1‏ .‏‏1 ‏- صحيح.‏ رواه مسلم (1983)‏.‏

English Translation

Anas bin Malik (rad) (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) was asked about making vinegar out of wine. He said, “No (it is prohibited)”. .
