Arabic Text
وَلِلْبَيْهَقِيِّ: { اَلْمَاءُ طَاهِرٌ إِلَّا إِنْ تَغَيَّرَ رِيحُهُ, أَوْ طَعْمُهُ, أَوْ لَوْنُهُ; بِنَجَاسَةٍ تَحْدُثُ فِيهِ } 1 .1 - ضعيف. رواه البيهقي في "الكبرى" (159-260) من حديث أبي إمامة أيضا، وفي إسناده بقية بن الوليد، وهو مدلس وقد عنعن. وله طريق آخر ولكنه ضعيف أيضا.
English Translation
And Al-Baihaqi (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that “Water is pure unless any impure thing is added which changes its smell, taste and colour”.
