Arabic Text

وَلِلْبُخَارِيِّ: { لَا يَبُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي اَلْمَاءِ اَلدَّائِمِ اَلَّذِي لَا يَجْرِي, ثُمَّ يَغْتَسِلُ فِيهِ } 1‏ .‏ وَلِمُسْلِمٍ: "مِنْهُ" 2‏ .‏ وَلِأَبِي دَاوُدَ: { وَلَا يَغْتَسِلُ فِيهِ مِنْ اَلْجَنَابَةِ } 3‏ .‏‏1 ‏- البخاري رقم (239)‏ .‏ ‏2 ‏- مسلم رقم (282)‏.‏ ‏3 ‏- سنن أبي داود (70)‏ .‏

English Translation

Another version of Al-Bukhari has: “None of you should urinate in stagnant water that is not flowing, and then take bath in it”. A version of Muslim has the words “from it (i.e. the water)”. A version of Abu Da’ud has: “One should not take bath in it from sexual impurity”.
