Chain of Narration (Isnad)

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏-

Body (Matn)

قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-{ اِدْفَعُوا اَلْحُدُودَ, مَا وَجَدْتُمْ لَهَا مَدْفَعًا } أَخْرَجَهُ اِبْنُ مَاجَهْ, وَإِسْنَادُهُ ضَعِيفٌ 1‏‏1 ‏- ضعيف.‏ رواه ابن ماجه (2545)‏.‏

English Translation

Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Avert the infliction of the prescribed punishment as long as you find a way out (i.e. to avoid their infliction). Related by Ibn Majah with a weak chain of narrators.
