وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: { ]مَا] كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَزِيدُ فِي رَمَضَانَ وَلَا فِي غَيْرِهِ عَلَى إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً, يُصَلِّي أَرْبَعًا, فَلَا تَسْأَلْ عَنْ حُسْنِهِنَّ وَطُولِهِنَّ, ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي أَرْبَعًا, فَلَا تَسْأَلْ عَنْ حُسْنِهِنَّ وَطُولِهِنَّ, ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي ثَلَاثًا. قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ
, فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ, أَتَنَامُ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُوتِرَ? قَالَ: "يَا عَائِشَةُ, إِنَّ عَيْنَيَّ تَنَامَانِ وَلَا يَنَامُ قَلْبِي". } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ . 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه البخاري (1147)، ومسلم (738)، وما بين الحاصرتين سقط من "أ".

English Translation
Aishah (RA) (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that Allah's Messenger ﷺ did not offer more than eleven (voluntary) Rak'at during Ramadan nor during other than Ramadan. He offered four Rak'at - Do not ask about their beauty and length! (It is beyond description or imitation]. Again he would pray four Rak'at - Do not ask about their beauty and length! . Then he would pray three (Rak'at of Witr). 'Aishah (RA) said: "I said, O Allah's Messenger ﷺ will you sleep before you pray Witr?" He said, "O 'Aishah my eyes sleep, but my heart does not sleep." .
