Arabic Text
وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ, عَنْ أَبِيهِ, عَنْ جَدِّهِ; أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { لَا يَجُوزُ لِاِمْرَأَةٍ عَطِيَّةٌ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ زَوْجِهَا }
English Translation
Amr bin Shu'aib on his father'ss authority from his grandfather (RA) (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah's Messenger ﷺ said: "It is not permissible to give a gift without her husband's permission."
