وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ - رضى الله عنه - عَنِ اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { مَنْ أَخَذَ أَمْوَالَ اَلنَّاسِ يُرِيدُ أَدَاءَهَا, أَدَّى اَللَّهُ عَنْهُ, وَمَنْ أَخَذَهَا 1 يُرِيدُ إِتْلَافَهَا, أَتْلَفَهُ اَللَّهُ } رَوَاهُ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ 2 .1 - كذا " بالأصلين ": وفي البخاري: " أخذ ".2 - صحيح. رواه البخاري ( 2387 ).
English Translation
Abu Hurairah (RA) (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever accepts other people's wealth intending to pay it back, Allah will pay it back for him. And whoever accepts it intending to waste it, Allah, the Most High, will waste (destroy) him." .
