Chain of Narration (Isnad)

وَعَنِ اِبْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ, عَنْ أَبِيهِ; { أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -حَجَرَ عَلَى مُعَاذٍ مَالَهُ, وَبَاعَهُ فِي دَيْنٍ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ } رَوَاهُ اَلدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلْحَاكِمُ, وَأَخْرَجَه

ُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ مُرْسَلًا, وَرُجِّحَ 1 .1 - ضعيف مرفوعا. والصحيح فيه الإرسال كما رجح ذلك غير واحد، وقد تكلمت عليه مفصلا في " الأقضية النبوية " لابن الطلاع.

English Translation

Ibn Ka'b bin Malik (RA) on the authority of his father (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah's Messenger ﷺ seized the wealth of Mu'adh and sold it in return for a debt he was indebted for. .
