أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ عَبْدِ ال
لَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ مِنْ اللَّهِ، وَالْحُلْمُ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ، فَإِذَا حَلَمَ أَحَدُكُمْ حُلْمًا يَخَافُهُ، فَلْيَبْصُقْ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، وَلْيَتَعَوَّذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ، فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَضُرُّهُ "
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The righteous dream is from Allah, and the evil dream is from Satan. So when one of you sees something he fears, let him spit to his left three times and seek refuge with Allah from its evil, for it will not harm him.'
