أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ مَخْلَدِ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ

Body (Matn)

ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" الرُّؤْيَا ثَلَاثٌ : فَالرُّؤْيَا الْحَسَنَةُ بُشْرَى مِنْ اللَّهِ، وَالرُّؤْيَا تَحْزِينٌ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ، وَالرُّؤْيَا مِمَّا يُحَدِّثُ بِهِ الْإِنْسَانُ نَفْسَهُ، فَإِذَا رَأَى أَحَدُكُمْ مَا يَكْرَهُهُ، فَلَا يُحَدِّثْ بِهِ، وَلْيَقُمْ، وَلْيُصَلِّ "

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Dreams are of three types: a good vision which is glad tidings from Allah, a dream of sadness which comes from Satan, and what a person tells himself. So if one of you sees something he dislikes, let him get up and pray.'
