أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ :" أَكْرَهُ الْغُلَّ، وَأُحِبُّ الْقَيْدَ، الْقَيْدُ ثَبَاتٌ فِي الدِّينِ "
English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I dislike the shackle and I love the fetter in a dream.' It was asked: What is the fetter? He said: 'It is steadfastness in religion.'
