Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ :" تَزَوَّجَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلّ
َى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي شَوَّالٍ، وَأُدْخِلْتُ عَلَيْهِ فِي شَوَّالٍ، فَأَيُّ نِسَائِهِ كَانَ أَحْظَى عِنْدَهُ مِنِّي؟ " قَالَت : " وَكَانَتْ تَسْتَحِبُّ أَنْ تُدْخِلَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ فِي شَوَّالٍ "

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If I were to command anyone to prostrate to anyone other than Allah, I would have commanded a wife to prostrate to her husband. A woman cannot fulfil her duty to Allah until she fulfils her duty to her husband.'
