أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ الْأَسَدِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَة ، عَنْ جُدَامَةَ بِنْتِ وَهْبٍ الْأَسَدِيَّةِ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّه
ُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ أَنْهَى عَنِ الْغِيلَةِ حَتَّى ذَكَرْتُ أَنَّ فَارِسَ، وَالرُّومَ يَصْنَعُونَ ذَلِكَ فَلَا يَضُرُّ أَوْلَادَهُمْ ". قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : الْغِيلَةُ : أَنْ يُجَامِعَهَا وَهِيَ تُرْضِعُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet ﷺ say: 'No man should be alone with a woman, and no woman should travel except with a mahram.' A man stood up and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have been enrolled in such-and-such an expedition, and my wife has set out for Hajj.' He said: 'Go and perform Hajj with your wife.'
