حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ هُوَ : ابْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَتَيْتُهُ حِينَ قَض
َى صَلَاتَهُ، فَكُنْتُ أَوَّلَ مَنْ حَيَّا بِتَحِيَّةِ الْإِسْلَامِ. قَالَ :" عَلَيْكَ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ، مِمَّنْ أَنْتَ؟ ". قَالَ : قُلْتُ : مِنْ غِفَارٍ. قَالَ : فَأَهْوَى بِيَدِهِ. قُلْتُ فِي نَفْسِي : كَرِهَ أَنِّي انْتَمَيْتُ إِلَى غِفَارٍ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had finished his prayer, he approached him and was the first to greet him with the greeting of Islam. The Prophet said: 'Wa 'alayk al-salam wa rahmatullah — from which tribe are you?' He said: 'From Ghifar.' He then moved his hand, and Abu Dharr said to himself: It seems he disliked that I am from Ghifar.
