أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي رِبْعِيُّ بْنُ حِرَاشٍ ، عَنِ امْرَأَتِهِ ، عَنْ أُخ
ْتٍ لِحُذَيْفَةَ ، قَالَتْ : خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ : " يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ،أَمَا لَكُنَّ فِي الْفِضَّةِ مَا تَحَلَّيْنَ بِهِ؟ أَمَا إِنَّهُ لَيْسَتْ مِنْكُنَّ امْرَأَةٌ تَحَلَّى الذَّهَبَ فَتُظْهِرَهُ، إِلَّا عُذِّبَتْ بِهِ "

English Translation
It was narrated from a sister of Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed the women and said: 'O women, is not silver enough for you to adorn yourselves with? Indeed, no woman among you adorns herself with gold and displays it except that she will be punished by it.'
