أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي

وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" إِذَا كُنْتُمْ ثَلَاثَةً، فَلَا يَتَنَاجَى اثْنَانِ دُونَ صَاحِبِهِمَا، فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ يُحْزِنُهُ "

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdallah (ibn Mas'ud) (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When you are three, two of you should not converse privately excluding the third, for that will grieve him.'
