أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ ، عَنْ مُوَرِّقٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللّ
َهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَاقَفَلَ، تُلُقِّيَ بِي وَبِالْحَسَنِ أَوْ بِالْحُسَيْنِ، قَالَ : وَأُرَاهُ قَالَ : الْحَسَنَ فَحَمَلَنِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، وَالْحَسَنَ وَرَاءَهُ، حَتَّى قَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ وَنَحْنُ عَلَى الدَّابَّةِ الَّتِي عَلَيْهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdallah ibn Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from a journey, he would be welcomed by him and al-Hasan or al-Husayn. He said: He carried me in front of him and al-Hasan behind him until we entered Madinah on the same mount as the Prophet ﷺ.
