Chain of Narration (Isnad)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى

عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ. قَالَ :" أَصْبَحْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَكَلِمَةِ الْإِخْلَاصِ، وَدِينِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، وَمِلَّةِ أَبِينَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا مُسْلِمًا "

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abza (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet ﷺ entered the morning, he would say: 'We have entered the morning upon the fitrah of Islam, upon the word of sincerity, upon the religion of our Prophet Muhammad, and upon the way of our father Ibrahim — a hanif and a Muslim.'
