حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ب

ْنِ أَبِي زَكَرِيَّا الْخُزَاعِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" إِنَّكُمْ تُدْعَوْنَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِأَسْمَائِكُمْ وَأَسْمَاءِ آبَائِكُمْ، فَأَحْسِنُوا أَسْمَاءَكُمْ "

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'You will be called on the Day of Resurrection by your names and your fathers' names, so give your children good names.'
