Chain of Narration (Isnad)

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، وَحَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرٌ ا

Body (Matn)

لْأَحْوَلُ ، قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ : عَامِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَكْحُولٌ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ مُحَيْرِيزٍ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ أَبَا مَحْذُورَةَ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" عَلَّمَهُ الْأَذَانَ تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ كَلِمَةً، وَالْإِقَامَةَ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ كَلِمَةً "

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Mahdhura (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded him to give the adhan, and taught him the adhan, saying: 'Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar' — raising his voice with the double testimony of faith, then lowering it.
