أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَ

نْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قِيلَ : " يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ مَاتُوا وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ ؟فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى : # وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُضِيعَ إِيمَانَكُمْ سورة البقرة آية 143 # "

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what about those who died praying toward Bayt al-Maqdis?' So Allah revealed: 'Allah would never let your faith go to waste.' (Al-Baqarah 2:143)'
