Chain of Narration (Isnad)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ، وَعُثْمَا

نَ كَانُوا" يَفْتَتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِ # الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ سورة الفاتحة آية 2 # ". قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : بِهَذَا نَقُولُ، وَلَا أَرَى الْجَهْرَ بِ # بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ سورة الفاتحة آية 1 #

English Translation

It was narrated from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman used to open the recitation with 'Al-hamdu lillahi rabbil-alamin.'
