أَخْبَرَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَ

ةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" إِذَا اجْتَمَعَ ثَلَاثَةٌ، فَلْيَؤُمَّهُمْ أَحَدُهُمْ، وَأَحَقُّهُمْ بِالْإِمَامَةِ أَقْرَؤُهُمْ "

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Said al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When three people gather, let one of them lead them, and the most deserving of the imamate is the one most proficient in Quran recitation.'
