Hadith #626
Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ الْبَرَّادِ ، قَالَ : وَكَانَ عِنْدِي أَوْثَقَ عِنْدِي مِنْ نَفْسِي، قَالَ : قَالَ لَنَا
أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ : أَلَا أُصَلِّي بِكُمْ صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" فَكَبَّرَ وَرَكَعَ، وَوَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ، وَفَرَّجَ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ حَتَّى اسْتَقَرَّ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مِنْهُ "

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever performs ghusl on Friday, just as for janabah, then goes in the first hour, it is as if he sacrificed a camel. Whoever goes in the second hour, it is as if he sacrificed a cow. Whoever goes in the third hour, it is as if he sacrificed a horned ram. Whoever goes in the fourth hour, it is as if he sacrificed a hen. And whoever goes in the fifth hour, it is as if he offered an egg.'
