Arabic Text
أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّمَاجُعِلَ
الْإِمَامُ لِيُؤْتَمَّ بِهِ، فَإِذَا كَبَّرَ، فَكَبِّرُوا، وَإِذَا رَكَعَ، فَارْكَعُوا وَإِذَا سَجَدَ فَاسْجُدُوا، وَإِذَا قَالَ : سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ، فَقُولُوا : اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ، وَإِذَا صَلَّى قَائِمًا، فَصَلُّوا قِيَامًا، وَإِذَا صَلَّى جَالِسًا، فَصَلُّوا جُلُوسًا أَجْمَعُونَ "

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The imam is appointed to be followed, so when he says the takbir, say the takbir; when he bows, bow; when he says 'Sami'allahu liman hamidah', say 'Rabbana wa lakal-hamd'; when he prostrates, prostrate; and when he prays sitting, pray sitting all of you.'
