أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَنْبأَنَا عَاصِمٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْوَلِيدِ هُوَ عَ

Body (Matn)

بْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : مَا كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَجْلِسُ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ إِلَّا قَدْرَ مَا يَقُولُ :" اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ، وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ، تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ "

English Translation

It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet ﷺ would not remain seated after the prayer except for the duration it took to say: 'Allahumma antas-salam wa minkas-salam, tabarakta ya dhal-jalali wal-ikram.'
