English Translation

It was narrated that a man entered upon the Prophet ﷺ while he was praying seated. He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I have been told that you said the prayer of a man sitting is half the prayer, yet you are praying seated.' He said: 'Yes, but I am not like any of you.' (Meaning: the Prophet's sitting prayer counted fully due to his special status.)
