أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَي

ْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : جِئْتُ أَنَا وَالْفَضْلُ يَعْنِي : عَلَى أَتَانٍ، وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَيُصَلِّي بِمِنًى أَوْ بِعَرَفَةَ ، فَمَرَرْتُ عَلَى بَعْضِ الصَّفِّ فَنَزَلْتُ عَنْهَا وَتَرَكْتُهَا تَرْعَى، وَدَخَلْتُ فِي الصَّفِّ "

English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he and al-Fadl came riding a donkey while the Prophet ﷺ was praying at Mina or Arafah. They passed in front of the row without the Prophet ﷺ objecting.
