It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Our Lord, Blessed is His Name, descends every night when the last third of the night remains and says: 'Is there anyone calling on Me that I may answer him? Is there anyone asking of Me that I may give him? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness that I may forgive him?''
