حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، ع

Body (Matn)

َنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" إِذَا قُلْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ : أَنْصِتْ، وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ فَقَدْ لَغَوْتَ ". أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، مِثْلَهُ

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah  ﷺ said: 'When you say to your companion: 'Be quiet' while the imam is giving the khutbah, you have committed idle talk.'
